EA Play 2019 Apex Legends press conference on June 8 revealed some of the most anticipated upcoming features of the game. Although Season 1 was very overwhelming to players with poor Battle Pass, lack of new content, and excitement to the game, next season is aimed to cover it all up.

Apex Legends will finally see a Ranked Mode where players will be matched with players close to their ranks. Drew McCoy, the project lead at the company behind Apex Legends announced that there will be a total of 6 tiers from Bronze to Apex Predator and at the end of each season, players will be rewarded with exclusive items depending on where they finish the season.

There isn’t much information revealed about how the ranked mode is going to shape out but we now know that it is certainly coming to the game. As you progress through the ranks, it might take a while to find a match with this but as Drew McCoy explained this saying “because we’re trying to find the best match for you”.

Are you now excited that the ranked mode is going to be available in Season 2 on July 2? Tell us what you think in the comments below! To find out more on the next season, visit our front page.
